The newborn sun warms this new, green land, casting long dark shadows of the trees across the lakes. Some people go on with their daily lives, choosing to ignore the trouble and misfortune, all because of one thing: the cursed lands of Aaralyn.
It is fabled that all the ones that lived there drank from the well of beauty, also known as the Azure Illume, and because of that, they are immortal, beautiful creatures. But their souls don't last forever. For now all they are are but shells: empty nothings that lure in all who come near them. These are the creatures who try to gain power over the lands and territories.
Through all these troubles, packs, herds, prides, flocks and towns of all sorts have formed to fight against the evil powers of Aaralyn.

The Lands of Softrain « Thread Started on Jun 7, 2006, 4:19pm »
Áeladh moved swiftly across the lands of Softrain, the land which she was Alphess of. She was lonely: there were no wolves to fill her ranks.
Her ears flicked constantly, her eyes sharp and bright. At least, while there were no members in her pack, she had no hassles of organizing and of responsibility. She could roam far and wide across her grassy, lush land and be completely carefree. The pearly-white femme wondered what it was like to have that responsibility: she guessed she’d just have to wait and find out… if any wolves did join her, that is…

Swift paced through the grassy plains of the Softrain. He felt nothing, the warmth of the sun, the coolness of the spashing waterfalls, nor the sweet smell of the spring flowers. It was all dull. Since that fateful night he found his way into the town of Aaralyn, Nothing seemed to satisfy him.
He spotted a White female, runnign swiftly through the trees. He picked up his pace, trying to catch up to her. He barked playfully, his voice echoing inside him slightly.

Áeladh turned her head as she felt and heard the soft patter of pawfalls in her territory. She didn't recall having any pack members. Her white fur sparkling brilliantly in the sun, she was glad that there was another to share her land. It had been getting quite lonely...
Yipping in greeting, her sapphire eyes glittered. She did not recognize the wolf, but maybe they would join her pack...

Swift smiled "Greetings, White femme, I.. I am Swift, Wanderer of these new lands." He slowed his pace, lowering his head slightly. "And who may you be?" He walked around her, looking her in the eye he leaned in, as if he was to tell her a secret. "The cursed are far and wide, I seen em, with my owwwwwn eyes. " He put on a playful pirate like accent, before adding, "But i wouldn't worry, they just a bunch of shallow creatures, not a brain in sight." he nudged her forehead, and grinned.

Áeladh was intrigued by this stranger's personality. Sure, she didn't know him, but he seemed trust-worthy. "Greetings, Swift! I am Áeladh." She was about to say that she was the Alphess, but that tended to deter others.
"The cursed are far and wide, I seen em, with my owwwwwn eyes. "
Now, that was strange. Quirking an eyebrow at the male, Áeladh couldn't help but smile. "No, brains went out of fashion years ago,"
